About us:

We are an EdTech startup and we are building a gamified Educational app that adults and children use together to strengthen their connection and build their social-emotional skills (Kindness, Self Control, Conflict-Resolution etc). We make the experience unique by offering exercises that leverage stories from movies, TV shows, books, etc. For example, you could learn about kindness or self-esteem by doing exercises that touch on situations from the movies “Kung Fu Panda” or “Toy Story”. We were awarded the Educational Entrepreneurship Fellowship from Harvard GSE.

What we’re looking for:

An experienced mobile developer who has worked in REACT NATIVE. You would work on the development of a new version of our mobile app, which includes the Backend and Frontend. We have the designs ready to deliver to the new developer.

– Creation of reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.

– Translation of UI designs and wireframes to high-quality code.

– Optimization of app components to obtain maximum performance in a wide range of devices.

– We’ll use React Native to build our app for iOS and Android.

– Work on the development needed for backend APIs.

– You would work under the direction of a very experienced CTO.

This project requires experience with:

‰> Must have experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React Native.

‰> For the Backend, familiarity with: MySQL, Typescript, ORM (typeorm / sequelize), Graphql Node, express – nest / koa / etc.

‰> Familiarity with RESTful API.
